I loved the melody you made in that improv, Niels, and beautifully played too!

Thanks, @Bill_Brown 🙂
The effect I use on my Hx Stomp is supposed to emulate Sting’s “Every breath you take” – mostly chorus, I think 😀

Well done @Niels I very much enjoyed listening to the your solo. Sounded to me like you went on an expedition to the Himalayan’s and found much deep snow 😁

Very reflective and floating vibe going on with this one @Niels . You were certainly having fun during this improv. Nice melodies and tone effects as well. Thanks for the post 👏👏🎶

Thank you @charlie_d
Your feedback means a lot to me.
Lately I have stopped doing my usual chord analysis and just try to play directly (I still fool around with the scale first, though).Hopefully it can be heard 😀

Niels, that was a great improv… if it appeared more or less by itself, that means you have conquered quite a bit as it didn’t have to take a lot of thought… Great going!

Thank you, @Marquita for your kind words.
I started this improv journey about a year ago with loads of scale and chord analysis for every improv in order to figure out how to do them.
Lately it has become easier, so apparently by now I have acquired a subconscious skill set I can build on 😀

Great job, @Niels! That was really melodic. I loved that you had recurring ideas and motifs and you used space very effectively! Super job!
