YU'L Strum & Pluck Jam Club

We have not met very often lately but last Sunday, @charlie_d , made a little visit to the DTV studio prior to his second shot of Covid vaccine. We played approximatly 2 hours of which the last hour was recorded.
We had prepared 2 songs to practice, “Light My Fire” (The Doors) and “Beer, Wine & Whiskey” (Little Big Town). So we did the 2 songs and others for about an hour WHEN we thought of recording ourselves. So this is the second hour (edited to 30 minutes) of completly improvised jamming. Charlie is very good at improvising solos but I gave him a hard time by throwing at him, without preparation and without warning, originals, chord changes, modulations etc … My apologies Charlie 🙂</div><div>

@Daniel_Morin What fun for you and @charlie_d ! I’d never heard Charlie sing before. Beautiful voice that we should hear more of. I love seeing the process and discussion while playing to get coordination now.

Thanks, @Loraine!It was great to get together again. Daniel always has so many ideas and is a real strummin machine. I enjoy singing, although mostly only do it when I meet up with @Daniel_Morin for some reason. I should try to do a few cover tunes once in a while..

Great reminder for us all to get out there and start playing with people again. I think I’ll see if the Austin Jam Club is ready to meet again. Inspiring and motivating.
