  1. Small win this week was playing every day despite a crazy busy schedule and being sick. Love the vibrato on the chords with the bass line added. New technique for me. Still a little rough, but gets better every time I play it.

  2. I enjoyed this week very much. Feels good to be back after a week of vacation and not playing along with you guys daily!

  3. I’m always glad I showed up to do my guitar time with TAC! I don’t move very well in my vibrato – honestly – and I never noticed vibrato in guitar! My last day of the vibrato challenge was massively better than my first!!

  4. Vibrato was fun, sound can be worked on still. I do appreciate what it brings to playing.
Small win is: this is my 200th session!

  5. Decent win, being playing every day for 8 weeks now! As to this week, never knew there was more than one vibrato style. Cool!

  6. Small win was doing well with confined and edgy vibrato, and finishing the week pretty well with the last two challenges.

  7. My small win this week was learning about the various vibrato techniques. I knew of vibrato but not all the techniques. Thanks so much!

  8. This week has been fun. Sometimes frustrating, but fun. As difficult as some of this is for me as a 67 yr old beginner, I am pleased to see consistent improvement and my desire to learn more increases every week.

  9. This was pretty easily done but improving on some sound consistency. It came together well and does need some work in better pressure on strings when causing the vibrato. It was a good confidence builder, solid week.

  10. I liked all the minor chords and learning to play them different places on the fretboard (in addition to being exposed to vibrato).
Also, my small (or not-so-small) win: I’ve been playing 7 days a week for several weeks now even on the days I’m not doing TAC! 🙂

  11. First time I was able to get all five days challenge solidly! Loved the vibrato week. The laid back bluesy style is fun to play!

  12. Fun bluesy vibe. The A7 and E7 vibrato sounded much better than the D7. Getting there! Tonight, I started a bit earlier @ 9:30pm instead of after 11pm! More energy to play!

Small win is understanding there are 3 types of vibrato and how each type works/is used. Best of all playing it for the first time!

  13. This was the First time I’ve tried this I had trouble with the Technique but I showed up and tried and I’ll keep trying just difficult for me at this time

  14. My first full week back after being hospitalized! Super pumped! A nice week to get back into it, too. Easy to follow along but still quite challenging.

  15. This was fun.. it was cool thinking about vibrato chords. like I said yesterday, Iommi did this with Sabbath chords to make them sound bigger. As if Black Sabbath needed a BIGGER sound lol. See ya around the music store! Until Monday, happy strumming!

  16. A win for m is learning the different ways to create vibrato. I have done bends in the past a little, but great get different ones says and I hope I’ll be able to incorporate more vibrato in my playing.

  17. I get how the D7 shape moved down same string set paired with open bass string gets the I-IV-V blues progression. Sounds groovy….LOL.

  18. This week was a little rough for me. Hopefully, as my fingers get stronger, I can come back to this and do better. All the different techniques are wonderful, but a little much for this beginner. I will keep showing up and learning.

  19. My small win was learning something new. Vibrato is a nice touch . It’s challenging to get the proper movement but now I have the basics to work with.

  20. I struggled with consistency this week. Fighting my third cold this year. I did get all the lessons completed though. I found lesson five easier than lesson four. I will work on these more over the weekend.

  21. Very good week! I did well with this. Not bragging, lord knows I struggle with most challenges. I was able to work on these almost each night this week, and it basically fell into place. Thanks Tony!

  22. I liked learning about the different types of Vibrato. Before this challenge I had heard of vibrato but thought it was only with the voice. It was interesting learning the different types of vibrato and how to apply them to where you are on the strings. If I had to pick I like the edgy vibrato with a chord. It’s a little more difficult using the confined vibrato on the higher strings with a chord. Small win for me is showing up and looking forward to playing and learning.

  23. Doing 10 solid minutes each day on vibrato, I have gone from just shaking my guitar around with a desperate claw clutching the neck and no difference to the note, to relaxing and slwing the music down to give my soloing some feel. By the end of the week I was trying sliding into vibrato for the first time. The sound had way more feeling and soul than just hitting notes, that in turn makes the playing more satisfying and interesting, and makes me feel more like a ‘Guitar Player’. Win!

  24. A small win this week was making up last week’s lessons that I missed due to traveling and company. I also found these vibrato lessons easier than the last time around and look forward to incorporating them into my song repertoire.

  25. Learning Vibrato has been a good experience for me. Wiggling strings and hitting base notes sounds very cool. First time using Vibrato.
