When I switched to a stiffer pick I found myself really bashing the strings because I was used to having to do that with a light pick to get any volume. The hardest thing so far has been learning to play lighter with the stiff pick. The stiff pick is definitely harder to strum with but is easier and far better sounding for soloing notes, flatpicking, bass walk up/downs etc

The trick to a thick pick is never strum with anythjng but a loose grip and let that middle finger help a little so it doesnt rotate. Also strike the strings as light and just barely as possible

Smaller guitars arent just for kids. I have a single O parlor size because its more comfortable when sitting on the couch.
A dreadnaught you really need a stool and to be sitting straight up

Tony has spider legs for fingers. Try doing the same pattern but shift it over a few frets where they are closer together for now and over time work on moving back to where its supposed to be

Next time fretboard wizard enrollment comes around its worth trying. Despite the name its mostly about theory of how to construct chords and how to know which ones sound good together.

I have mostly focused on flat picking but am currently attempting to mix in some finger stuff for variety. It seems to be easier to singer over. I think i got the thumb down. Now i just need to start adding more fingers and some day i will be able to travis pick
