@bugmeist and @Bill_Brown , As of right now I don’t have sound on my computer. I have to wear headphones to hear anything so i would be a silent attendee. Is that an issue with attending a VOM without sound?

I was at the same cross road not that long ago (i’m sure a lot of us were). Try to finish Fretboard Wizard, it’s a toughie but worth it. I’m redoing it myself, I am determined to write my own composition. I swear I thought the same thing when Tony would talk about “in the key of this or key of that”, I’d think… what the heck is he talking about. The fretboard wizard explained it all to me. I’m still not real clear on it, but I’m getting there. I am really getting inspired by some of the songs I hear on “play for us”. Listen to a few of them, it might also be inspiring to you. My thoughts to you…. Try to do the challenges, only 10 minutes. I don’t mean 10 minutes to play it smooth. I mean 10 minutes from the start, even if it’s fumbling and slow. Keep a list of things you want to do for the day. It’s could be something like:
Daily Challenge 10 minutes
Pentatonic Scale 5 minutes
Blues Scale 5 minutes
Freight Train 5 minutes (by the way… Freight train is a HARD song).Track it, tracking will make you accountable. You can do this.

I have never attended a VOM yet. I’ll have to get past that road block and attend one myself. Good for you for attending.

Congrats on the 90-day goal. Have you put any of your songs on “play for us”. You also mentioned a new guitar, what did you buy?

@Loraine , I am just wondering if we purchased the Fretboard Wizard do we always have it? Or do we lose it when it becomes available again?

I can play the intro to Alice’s Restaurant. Yeah, not going to sing 18 minutes of a ballad, so I just stuck to the intro. Good luck with America Pie. I’ll be watching for it.
