Hey @the-old-coach . @N-lightMike has provided some fabulous in depth info here!

When I read your question this was my thought: the different chord shapes (C,A, G, E, D) allow us to play the notes needed for a chord on different parts of the guitar neck. These “chord shapes” help use access the right notes on the strings at a particular position on the neck.

Not sure if this is exactly correct, however it is how I understood the CAGED portion of FW. 😃

Hi @RC60 . I have been using to new FW videos for about 3 weeks or so and have not had buffering issues. @N-lightMike has a good suggestion regarding reaching out to the TAC Support team.

@rdf1967 so sorry to hear about your terrible accident and situation. Sending my thoughts and prayers to you. One idea to consider is alternative guitar tunings. For example using an open G, D or E tuning allows chords shapes using fewer fingers.

Hey there @01jcheathgmail-com . @Bill_Brown ’s advice is key to keep your streak going. I would also add that a streak is only a number that indicates how consistent you are with your routine. The main thing is that you are consistent with your own commitment to your guitar journey and are having fun!

Hi @handymandan928 and welcome to TAC.

There are three important things to do to make sure your sessions are logged correctly.

First log in to a fresh session every day. In my routine I log in in the morning and then make sure log out each night

Second, you must be”active” on the site (which it sounds like you certainly are!) by doing the challenge or a skills course. When you complete a challenge you may get a message something like “that material will not be available…”. This is referring to the next days challenge. It seems like the site is programmed to roll to the next challenge once you complete your current challenge.

Third, when you complete the challenge, make sure you mark it complete by clicking in the “completed” button.

There is no place in the site for you to “log” your activity. There is a downloadable PDF journal for you to use to log your daily journey – it is not at all interactive with the site.

If you navigate to the support area on the site there is a post or two about how TAC counts sessions – much better than I just did above! 😃

As far as doing the 30 Days to play and challenges at the same time – have at it! As long as your routine supports it and you are having fun go for it!

Hope this was helpful. Again, welcome to TAC!
