Very cool @Niels It was nice to see you play “out of the box” like that. I agree the drone scale could get buried in the mix. I boosted my equalizer after recording to try to adjust my solo sound a bit. Thanks for posting!

Thanks @jonathandavid. He was a real anchor for the ZZ Top trio. I will check out the article you mentioned. There’s a recent documentary on Netflix about the band that is quite good. ZZ Top : That Little Old Band from Texas .
