<div>I plugged in the little GS mini I won on TAC for this one! I thought it would be nice to get a bright sound to constrast with the percussive-muted backtrack. Sorry, somehow it got recorded twice. I had fun tryin to come up with something “catchy”

Hey @charlie_d , nicely done. I always liked listening to your solos as you are one of the accomplished soloist here on TAC. I like how you mixed the double stops from the lesson in with the more typical higher notes on the high E and B strings. I have made enough advancement since joining TAC over 2 years ago, to start understanding soloing and therefore learn from what others do. (I know, it’s all in my head. But that’s my process. Well, or it’s my lame excuse.) Thanks for sharing.

Hi, @MikeGaurnier. Thanks for the positive feedback. I appreciate it. I always enjoy working on a solo. This time around, I had some preconceived notions after noodling around a bit over the track. I’m glad you liked what I came up with. I am also happy you are able to pick up some of what I did and appreciate it as well. Keep on playing and singing too 🎶

You looked like you were having so much fun playing this one @charlie_d . Great job – I wish my mind and fingers worked as quickly and loosely as yours appear to do.

Another great one @charlie_d 👏👏👏 I really liked how you used the whole neck👍, 5 of 6 strings👍, the “no5 chords”👍, and the tempo changes for the various melodies you created👍 Just the stuff that Great is made of🤩

I loved listening to your solo. I have never taken the time to watch members doing the improvisation lesson. Wow! I am very impressed. Thank you for sharing. Maybe I will get up some courage and video myself one day.
