I’ve enjoyed your posts and performances on a few of the VOM’s I’ve attended. You and @AcousticVictor and @BrianSantos are an encouragement to others who are now self proclaimed guitar geeks.

    Thanks.

How Warming it is to see someone emerged in the zone of this great “Classical” piece. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Takes me back to a simpler youthful time. Oh the sadness of a broken puppy love. I liked that you didn’t rush the song and let the emotion breathe.

When I travel I use a Martin Backpacker. It is easy to transport and has a full neck for practicing. It has a hammer dulcimer type quality which gives songs a little variation and is fun. It solicits regular questions from other travelers and TSA has had me open it periodically to show it is not a hunting rifle or genuine Axe.

The daily challenges really build over time. As they start to repeat for me I feel a sense of accomplishment when I find that what I could barely do at slow speed the first time around, a year later I can most often do at normal speed in 10 minutes and even the faster speeds with a little more. And my strength and clarity are much improved. Congrats on finishing that full week. The race goes to the steady says Turtle.

  • Nice, solid, rendition of a classic. You did it justice.

Quite impressive from performance and presentation. I’m certain it was a lot of work, but the result was beauty.

Lively and fun. Buck Owens would be proud.

This is one of my wife’s favorites. She cracks up each time she hears it.

Thanks for dropping back in. Both the guitar and the Travis picking are impressive. I need to bone up my Travis picking. I so like the sound.

Well if you have gone into enemy territory to capture a prize, you certainly did so with success. You have captured the Essence of the Song and the alternate tuning rang out resonating your enthusiasm. You didn’t say which alternate tuning you used but it suited the piece. Thanks for sharing.

Nice job. I’m just now finding and picking up on this performance but happy I listened. Thank you.

Best way to celebrate Memorial Day is by creating new memories. Family and music. Great combo. Good job stepping outside and bursting into song.

  • Good song. When you add the vocals, it will naturally slow and steady your rhythm. Thanks for sharing.
