When you can play the music at speed, the next thing you note is that you are playing the music while thinking about the music and not the mechanics. Muscle memory is a fantastic blessing.

It’s weird how one can get to “know” others by just posting a song or hearing a song as you journey along. Congratulations on your first post. My first felt a little scary but now it is rewarding to see how fellow guitar geeks are progressing.

I like your idea of setting a baseline. By the time you Ramble down the Road you’ll be happy you did. Good job none the less so you set your bar up to begin with.
