@Moonhare Great to have you back. Your TAC fans, myself included, missed you. Clearly, you have been busy learning and putting in practice time. Like this lively tune and appreciate both you timing and dexterity. I believe your keyboard background has been an advantage? You navigate the fretboard effortlessly.
Look forward to hearing the “studio version” and would like to contribute to the cause. Cheers Daren!

Very much appreciate @stevieblues @bugmeist and @Loraine kind words of encouragement😃 I have been working on an advanced version with guitar riffs mimicking the songs orchestration, like the flute. Stay tuned. Let’s keep playing with joyful hearts💓

@JerryCan – I, understand. Been there. However, it took me (and, I’m sure others) around a year before being able to play simple (3-6 chord) songs with any confidence. It took me that amount of time and consistent practicing for fingers and brain to start having “Ah Ha” moments. Suggestion, you expressed an interest in being able to play finger picking. Have you tried the TAC skill course Fingerpicking Jumpstart? Regarding campfire songs you might want to try songs like John Denver’s “Take Me Home Country Roads” (G, Em, D, C, F, D7). Check out the beginner’s version at ultimate-guitar.com. Find a song you really like and try to play it once each time you pick up your guitar. Strum it then work on picking it. It must be fun for you, even though, yes, at times frustrating!
It’s a marathon, not a sprint as the adage goes! Hope you hang in there with us, Jerry.

Keep it going @dougt but don’t let it deter you if your streak breaks. It the playing session total that matters and, of course, having fun along the way.

No small feat @albert_d ! Good for you heading to the Windy City for the Fretboard Summit. We expect a full report about your experience.

Most the time folks don’t even notice a goof. Thanks for posting. I’ve got to revisit this Harry Chapin classic life lesson.

I agree, it’s okay to interrupt a daily streak. I do try to keep my weekly one intact.
I had nasty COVID twice and felt like my end time had cometh ☠️ at the very start of the pandemic. As many have commented, it was a blessing 😇 to have TAC to pass the time productively when homebound during the worst of it.

Oh yes, indeed @albert_d – I was a shy guy too back then with stage fright yet I wore a brown Nehru jacket. Gave it to a younger kid next door when it didn’t fit. He told a few years ago he still has it! Thanks for listening and your remarks.

Nicely done @Marisa – haven’t heard this one for quite awhile. Regarding portable PA’s, it is hard to beat Bose. Check out the Bose L1 Pro 16. 🎤

@That_Guy – Jason, not familiar with this tune or Blaze Foley but really like it. It’s one of those “pick’n & grinning” songs😄. Enjoyed your playing and thought your vocals fit the lyrics perfectly.
