That was very nice, Michelle. And your audio sounded fine. Voice was nice and clear and the guitar came across just right – balanced with your voice. I liked it!

@T-J-Colo and @Mike-Gaurnier , the nickname thing does work. Capitalization matters. It has to be capitalized exactly the way you put it in. Kind of dorky since normally MS products are deaf to capitalization except in passwords. Don’t know, but maybe they’ve changed to a Linux server or something. I’m mostly (at this point) frustrated with the idea that the system has to build and transfer the entire page before it can appear on the screen…

MemberMarch 25, 2021 at 11:11 pm in reply to: Unique "nickname" for tagging – Solution@Mike-Gaurnier , I had same problem with nickname. Was only seeing First Name. So I chose to put a period between them and now it seems to work. Maybe we need to suggest some sort of standard character for everyone to use or this is likely to be a real problem down the line. I don’t care which valid character we use, I just think everyone should do it the same way…

I was having the same problem but I fixed it on mine. I’m using Big Sur (v11.2.3). Search of the Internet suggested this:
Go into Safari>Preferences
Choose the Advanced Tab on the far right.
At the bottom of the advanced screen is an item called Show Develop Menu in Menu Bar. It’s probably off. Check it to turn it on.
Exit Preferences
Now you should see a Develop Menu Item in the Safari Menu at the top of the screen.
Hover your cursor on it and a long menu will show up. About halfway down is an item called “Empty Caches” It also shows a shortcut key set of Shift\CMD\E
Click on Empty Caches.
Since I’m a belt and Suspenders type of guy, I then did the Keyboard version a couple of times too.
One more thing. A secondary way to take care of this is to hold Shift and hit the Refresh thingy in the URL bar. I did that one too. (You can’t be too thorough with these things, you know.)
Then close Safari, cross your fingers, open it back up, and go back to the page. If everything went as planned, you should see the Daily Challenge, the Calendar, and some other items.
It worked for me and I hope it works for you.

MemberMarch 26, 2021 at 4:06 pm in reply to: Unique "nickname" for tagging – Solution@Mike-Gaurnier , I changed mine to a dash like you did. It’s weird, because on my own page, it did show my name as Lance.Hankins before. Anyway, now I should show as Lance-Hankins. Let’s see if that helps.

@Jesse W, The “Shift and Refresh” didn’t work for me either on my MacBook Pro until I did the stuff in my other post here. I was also worried i would lose my History, but it’s all still there.
