Thank you for coming by and commenting @Michelle_in_PSL , @bugmeist and @lisa18wheels . Trying to “socialize” on this site right now is a really big deal. We can’t do much because the speed is horribible. (Think Tigger when you read that.)

This is truly awesome @MoochasPoochas . I love to hear about the results of really applying Tony’s method. I am happy for those whose guitar journey started here. I had played over a period of 20 years trying to learn on my own before I came to TAC. It’s a wonderful place to learn guitar. And thank you for sharing some great advice for those who come after you.

Congratulations @albert_d, for two years of improvement and fun. I’m glad your ready to learn to run. That’s great. But we will always have to poop… sometimes.

Using barre chords in a song within the first year of playing guitar? That’s a pretty special small win right there. Memorizing all these songs and licks? That’s another very impressive small win. And your voice. You always sing well, but sometimes your voice is just amazing. This song, this song really fits your voice. You sang this well enough to put on an album. thanks for posting and the continuing stream of entertainment.

I totally agree Don. I’m almost there.

That’s awesome TJ. That’s what I’ve found about finger picking, and flat picking would do the same, when you’re picking each string, all your chords have to become more precise. And of course, the barres are the most challenging. This is great practice. Good for you.

Congratulations @Wendy_D, for the great progress over the last 3 years and for the goals for the next year. It’s wonderful to be a part of the newest version of TAC. It looks like it’s the best so far. Thanks for posting.

That’s the beauty of this community, @punder , because we all need help and we all can give help.
So, the Monthly Guitar Parties are the first Wednesday of every month at 11am Mountain Time. You will get an email from TAC that gives you a one click link to join the live feed. Four times a year, January, April, July and October, the Monthly Guitar Party covers our 90 day goals. Each time, Tony helps us understand how to set our 90 day goals and helps us evaluate how we did on our last 90 day goals. So the next Monthly Guitar Party will be a 90 day goal setting “party”.
As @lisa18wheels said, Tony talks about the 90 day goals in the quick start, which is found under your tag name at the top right beside your profile pic.

Yeah, @was-dan there have been some unintended bummers that came along with the migration.

Yeah, I totally understand that. It’s very cool, but there are still some bugs to work out. The biggest problem for me is the slow download time. I have trouble with patience, so I guess one more time, TAC is helping me to be a better person, not just guitar player. 😀

That’s pretty weird @DavidScoggins . Well, I’ll let you get “Back to the Future”. LOL
Hopefully, I’ll see you next Friday or Saturday. I have truly enjoyed being able to “see” you on those VOMs.

MemberMarch 28, 2021 at 8:46 pm in reply to: How do find the whole week’s lessons to access them and go over each one againYes, @Milt , that’s the reason they have a “favorite” button and that is why they really wanted to keep our favorites from the old website. When Tony and the TAC team were told by the web guys that our favorites had been lost the were devastated knowing how important they were to us. But at that point there was no going back as is so often the case with software upgrades. But we will be able to build a new favorites list. We don’t have to go backwards at all. Our guitar journeys will continue to grow and expand.
