Great start. So to post here you need to get a link for the YouTube video. When you are at the page there should be an option to SHARE which will then give you a list of all sorts of ways to share. Select COPY LINK then that will give you a piece of text with the video link that you can paste into your post here. The video will then insert into your text. Hope that helps.

Great way to spend time until Moose returns from the guitar hospital. Of course this is a prime example of why you need a Guitarsenal! 🤟😎🎸

Hey that’s brilliant. It’s all about building muscle memory so things just start to happen without thinking about it. What a great small win. Congrats 🤘😎🎸

I like that strumming style combined with the finger picking. Sounds great straight off the bat and its not often we get to hear Lady Gaga on TAC either!

🤣 Love it. If comedic self deprecation was an award category the Oscar would go to you.

These milestones creep up on you don’t they! Congrats on your 200. I hope you are making progress. it’s sometimes fun to go back to the 30 day challenge and see how easy (or hard) it seems now. Surprised me when I tried it again just how far I’d come.

Hey there. The most important thing you said there was that the last bit. There are always things that can temporarily derail your routine but don’t worry because you are not in a race. As soon as it is possible just get back to it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with going back to the start. You may find it comes back to you quicker than you expected but worst case take it as a reset.
I was dabbling for 40 years before I joined TAC last year. I got absolutely nowhere beyond a few cowboy chords. Suddenly I found a focus with the 30 day challenge, followed by the extra chords then trying the daily challenges. It doesn’t matter whether you have to restart. The important thing is to recognise the setback for what it is, take a breath and get back on the horse.
If you want to know what it looks like to do TAC for a year check out my post earlier today on my 1st TACiversary. Hopefully that will inspire you to get back into the routine. But personally I think it sounds like you have already recognised the situation for what it is. Life gets in the way but the guitar can play a part in releasing some of that work stress and bring some welcome distraction and musical wellbeing into your life. Best of luck. Darren (Moonhare). 🤟😎🎸

MemberApril 26, 2022 at 1:25 am in reply to: Another Covid Lockdown guitarist hits the 1st TACiversary! Thanks for that. Well there’s no doubt in my mind now that you just have to trust the system. Things will happen if you turn up each day you can and believe me I don’t do an hour or two a day. Most of the week it is 10-20 minutes, but it all adds up then at weekends I may get a chance to play for an hour or more and put it into practice writing a new tune using the techniques I’ve learned from TAC. The important thing I’ve learned this year is to play what you can’t play and don’t think of it as a failure when it all falls apart. One day you find you can play that thing that was just so difficult before. Keep at it my friend! 🤟😎🎸

We all have our strengths and weaknesses. It is using them to our best advantage not only for ourselves, but for others too that counts. I know a tiny bit about your life journey but it seems to have given you a perspective that some of us will never have. Thanks! 🤟😎🎸

Well there’s always something that can derail you for sure but the tavel guitar will really help when we take the Harley’s up to Scotland in the summer.

Yes – starting the year with some hybrid picking which I’ve never been able to get the hang of.

Hi there. Yes combining clips or editing out sections is a straightforward task in any video editor. However I suspect my editor would be way over the top for what you need. @mikeguarnier did mention a good free video editor in another forum we are both on. Can’t remember what it is but perhaps he can assist? Also you can edit out bits of a video on YouTube itself but personally I would only use this as a last resort. Better to get it right before you upload it. I could demonstrate how I do video editing on a zoom call or via a youtube video if you just wanted an idea how it works. Darren (Moonhare)
