That is a wonderful track superbly played. I REALLY enjoyed that. Keep the thunder in the live track! Gives it a Doors vibe 😎

At the moment I get 2-3 daily challenges a week that I can play. Well done on Bingo Bango. Determination pays off.

Yes! Nothing like playing with other people. My wife loves music but doesn’t play so for now I’m flying solo. Well done on your win.

Bane of my life. Wrist aches like hell after a few minutes so I feel your win every step of the way. Congrats.

That’s a lot of hours. Well done for sticking with it. Hope it’s been a lot of fun too.

Thanks – it was my present to myself for 50 days of TAC. Tobacco sunburst is stunning.

He does a bit doesn’t he? But no he is a dutch musician I only met that once. The other two are very long standing touring buddies from a band called The Whisky Priests. Unfortunately Mick (on the banjo) died from Covid 19 last November which was a terrible loss to all of us.

Hey @Bill_Brown it’s the Irish drum used in a lot of celtic folk music. You can see me playing one here.

I agree it is easy to play it safe, not make a fool of yourself. For me it has been a humbling experience learning an instrument I am not good at when I’ve been playing keyboards and bodhran for decades. But it is so much more satisfying when you’re pushing into seemingly unplayable territory and then it finally clicks. I have had a few of those moments in the past couple of months and they are what keep me picking up that block of wood and wire and trying again.

Surprising how different it feels. I think it came with coated strings which were easier to slide but harder to get pull offs. I didn’t realise it would make so much difference.

That’s so ironic that you gave yourself a kick up the butt! Perhaps a bit of distance helps with some of the daily challenges. I’ve gone back to some early ones late in the month and finally got them.

Much appreciated @Al.E – trying to mix up the formal practice with just a bit of fun.
