Wow, @Donny_71 , so much tone and progress. Lovely song extremely well played. Missed seeing and hearing you, and it is obvious you are improving daily. Best

This “full G” or “country G” is trouble at the beginning. I originally learned with fretting only the High E (3rd fret), A (2nd fret) and low E (3rd Fret). Note, the full G has more tone, and is very useful, and when practice has your fingers falling into place is a joy. The same is tru of the simpler version, that you will see a lot of players fret with the middle, ring and pinky (which has me feeling exactly as you described, at the moment).
Keep going @riverjordan_61 , it will come, but only if you decide you want to have fun with it.

A 12-string is a wondrous sounding instrument. Be sure you are comfortable with the size, however, as most (not all) are dreadnoughts. Mine is a Koa Taylor knockoff, and I have had a Gibson and a Martin (in years gone by). They are my favorites to play, and create strong learning curves.
What are you looking at, as it is very likely someone here has one, as there are many lovley 12’s in the hands of TACsters. Good luck, and let us know when you pull the trigger, @Kitsequecla .

@Loraine. You have grown confident since first we met, and a little thing like reworking up your practice routine will be a cinch for you. I predict, your sorrow will lead you to something you will play dedicated to her, and you will be brilliant.
I can hardly wait. (Note, if you will, that is not the first time I have said that to you, and so far, I am batting !00%, cause You Got This!!)

Many of us love messing in these box canyons of sound, and as played by you, I love the sound. (When I try it, not so much). Well done.

Yeah, I guess you really are “That Guy,” huh??

TAC SNL VOM is live, and the performers get to record, if they desire, and do what they like with their recordings of their individual performances. The same is true of the FNL VOM, Scones VOM and Sunday VwA.
Hope to see you at one of them @jenny , and any question that gains you insight is welcome. May your guitar journey continue and improve.

Will do, and thanks for the support.

Thank you.

Truly, a guitarist from before the beginning. Not a bad thing, just a recognition that you will eventually have a time machine @That_Guy . Play on, have fun, the counters on TAC are not trustworthy as counters, but what you track and record of yourself definitely is.
