I don’t really understand how to improvise yet. It looks like you were using strings and frets that weren’t in the video. I’ve noticed that in other videos.

Yeah, I was wondering that as well. It’s definitely easier to play a note on a tone.

Nice! Sounds like we are on a similar track. I have started using the metronome as well. Everyone said that’s a really good idea and they wish they had started doing that sooner.

Ok, I will give that a try. If I’m taking a full beat to change then I can no doubt up the tempo. Is there a reason to do that as opposed to switching between beats?

What would you say is the main benefit of buying FW over a music theory text? They go for $10-20 on Amazon.
