@Loraine Well done! I could see you playing the notes from the scale both vertically and horizontally, hitting those single notes that go with the backing track. That’s the way to do it. Kudos

That sounded really great! Smooth!

That was beautiful! So well done. Four years would seem to cover the lifetime subscription. Could you get any credit for it? The best to you!

@stevieblues Thank you! Thanks for listening and watching.
@KevinZ Thanks much, very kind!
@Moonhare Thank you! Not sure. 😀
I have been messing around with 7 chord shapes, but with a capo on the 3rd fret. I really like the sound of the progression, but am trying to build on finger picking the 7 chord shapes. Of course that changes the chords. The root note of C on the first chord becomes a D#. I am weak on music theory, and the notes in the chord now don’t seem to fit completely D# major or minor (a hybrid?). I just know the notes of that chord, and the progression work well together. This is where collaboration would be nice.
@Marisa Thank you! It is indeed a great enhancement.
@Bill_Brown Thank you for your encouraging and gracious words! We have partially raised these two; and they still are over here a lot. It is a joy; but they are getting harder to keep up with. 😂 -
That was great! Very clear. You were all over the fretboard. Well played!

So much good advice here. I am heading toward 70; have arthritis in the hands; only started TAC 21 months ago; and only started playing at all a few months before that. So, how far could I get at my age? I am farther than I thought; playing things now I never thought I could. I learned not to compare to others, and just do what I could do. The consistency of a little time each day builds up. Combining the daily challenge, some skill courses; eventually looking at some songs from other sources as I had time; and just messing around; I have come to where I am. LOL Sounds kind of obvious (maybe even a little loony); but where I am is a lot different from where I started, even with my limits. As some of us old folk may say; “keep on truckin'”. You will surprise yourself! Enjoy the ride!
