Moonhare hit it on the head. Here you learn techniques, knowledge, skills; and through daily playing, get more experience and improve in them; and then you can apply those to playing songs. The daily lessons plus skill courses have helped me a lot. Every person may approach learning guitar differently, but this has worked for me, and stretched me into areas (finger-picking for instance), in ways I would not have otherwise.

Underneath the lesson on the right hand side, next to the heart. On a PC, when you hover over it with the mouse cursor it says “Download Tab”.
