Hey @Spiker , if you’re talking about today’s speed challenge exercise, the pinky handles the 4th fret👍

[Bill_Brown]

Nice cover @Christopher_H 👏👏👏 Good voice, strumming and harp very nice combo👍👍

[Bill_Brown]

That was very nice @JoeW 👍👍, as @Loraine said, clean chords all the way – I see it coming together for you – like the dam is going to burst😱

[Bill_Brown]

@AttyTJ ,👍👍

[Bill_Brown]

Nice one @Alfred 👏👏👏 Loved the picking pattern throughout the chord progression – as usual, your finger style playing is awesome 👍👍

[Bill_Brown]

Hey @DavidScoggins , just wanted to say “Really Truly”👍

[Bill_Brown]

Hey @jumpinjeff that sounds like candy!😍😍 No whoopsies there – just great stuff. As @Loraine said, great undertones – like JAZZ undertones – just awesome tempo and finger work – playing like you’re part of the Sebastian group👏👏👏 Bravo!!!

Hello @DavidScoggins , I loved your rendition 👏👏👏 of one of my favorite songs🤩 So I have a video of David Bowie playing this piece “unplugged” that I thought you might like to see – it’s from a 1996 performance for the “Bridge School” which Peggie and Neil Young are large supporters and put this benefit concert together. https://www.facebook.com/pegiyoung/videos/1128420060516557/?ref=tahoe Hope you enjoy👍

Hello @Moonhare , I see that @dr_dave and @Mike-Gaurnier have given you some good pointers 👍 I would like to add something that will be beneficial and give you something to think about. That E shaped barre chord can be played up and down the neck – meaning that with that one shape, you can have at least 12 other chords in your pocket – so it’s definitely something that’s worth the time and effort to work on. Try practicing it at the 3rd fret (G chord) or the 5th fret (A chord) or 7th fret (B chord) – at those positions it should take less pressure for the index to hold down the strings. And remember to line your thumb up with the index!😎

[Bill_Brown]

👏👏👏 @KevinZ , that was a wonderful rendition👍👍 I enjoy watching you perform because you always put your heart and soul into it – and today you “Really Truly” did that. Loved the mixed pattern finger style with the percussion – great playing and great singing – as usual!😎

[Bill_Brown]

Very nice @Topher 👍👍! Great sound as @Niels pointed out and good tempo as @Fly said👏👏👏

[Bill_Brown]

That was a great melody that you came up with @Niels 👏👏👏. Very nicely played and the tempo was spot on 👍👍!

[Bill_Brown]

👍👍

Hello again @Moonhare , I didn’t watch your video the first time I posted, I only read all the other posts and then made my post to you. That being said, today I watched your video (which by the way, was really cool😎) and noticed that you are only taking the index to the 1st knuckle when trying to barre – I would like to suggest that you use the whole finger, so that you are using the “fat pad” between your 1st knuckle and the palm of the fretting hand to help hold down the strings. In other words, have the area between the palm and the “base” of the fingers touching the edge of the fretboard. I wish I was savvy enough to make a video to show you what I mean, but I hope you can make sense of my words instead😱
