Go for it @Screaming_fingers_jackson 👍👍 Just go for it. Then you’ll have a really great reason to fulfill your commitment😎

Nice work @Guerra6007 🤩👏👏 I liked the “formula” you used, playing the root notes of the chords and then giving it some twang by using a tremolo effect on the G,B & hiE strings while holding the chord shapes – really nice😎

Nice improv @Lange22 🤩👏👏 You’re starting off the new year with firm footing👟👟 from what I heard😎

Answer 1 is the correct answer @schmiderific , (good catch on your part about the F#). So the rows of the chord matrix are based on the 1st position scale (G) notes. So you continue to build the matrix based on that scale’s (G) notes – not the scale notes of the 3rd and 5th position’s scales.
Hope that makes sense – good luck my friend – enjoy the journey🤩

Indeed, a very nice step along the road Darren🤩 ( @Moonhare ). That was a fantastic instrumental piece👏👏👏 It definitely had texture and certainly came with tone👍👍 Well done my friend – you’re journeying quite well😎

That was a nice little course @Sungreen , but I have to agree with @jumpinjeff – nuts & bolts of CAGED. It’s based on partial E & A shaped barre chords (and the open D shape too). I like how they broke the barre chords into segments of strings, but essentially you’re just playing segments of barre chords – but only touching on 3 of the 5 chord shapes in CAGED. If you examine what this course calls “roots” (RT) closely, you’ll see that, starting with RT1=partial E shaped barre chords, RT2=open D shaped chords, RT3=partial A shaped barre chords, RT4=partial E shaped barre chords, RT5=full A shaped barre chords, and finally RT6=full E shaped barre chords.
But all in all, still a fun read, thanks for sharing👍

Hi @5noteblues , Welcome to TAC. AS @Loraine said, it’s all a question of how much time you have in the day and what do you want to make a priority. FW is a wonderful course and you own it, so you can go through it as often as you like, repeating sections as many times as you like. The Daily Challenges come back around about once every year – give or take a few months, so it’s not crucial if you miss one here or there (as long as you’re doing something everyday with your guitar – that’s a crucial element to TAC). So, depending on how much time you have during the day, and what’s more important to you, is how I would look at it (YMMV). Perhaps doing the Daily Challenges during the week and FW on the weekend?
Most of all, enjoy your journey😎

Hi @kmarkley@neo.rr.com
here is a link to the TAC Song Vault; https://app.searchie.io/hub/254V7grV3m/
These “songs” are mostly guitar instrumentals – no words – and if some of the songs have words, they’re not part of these lessons. That being said, have fun!

Yes, less use of full barre chords, but still basic barre chord segments – nothing wrong with that🤩

Agree totally👍👍
