Nice! I cannot acclimate to the fingerpicks at all. I’m okay with a thunb pick, but the rest feel clunky and unnatural to me. I like using my fingers instead.

Hi @Terry6422000 How exciting for you to be moving to Okinawa. I know there are other TAC members from Japan, but I can’t say for sure whether any are located on the island. You can search the members page (I suggest searching by keywords, instead of country). Type in Okinawa or Japan in keyword and see if anyone is located there.

Hi @Steve_O_123 Its never a good feeling when we find a flaw in something we just purchased, I suggest contacting wherever you purchased it from about the flaw in the string and ask for replacement strings. Then I would see if the flaw interferes with my playing. If so, then replace the strings. If not, then play away!

This is one of my favorite songs (most Dylan songs are in my favorites). I still have to say the Blowin in the Wind is at the top of the list. I can’t pick fast enough or well enough to play the song. I could probably try strumming it. I’ll add it to my list of songs to learn (maybe not in the near future though).

You could use a metronome app on your phone.
