1st TACiversarry!
Posted by Marisa on December 23, 2021 at 11:42 am1 year TACiversary here. 🙌🏼 (I actually dusted off my daughter’s yamaha jr. for a couple of months before I found Tony and I’m glad I did!) I have enjoyed every minute of this journey- the lessons, the forums, the inspiration, the support. I am starting to really understand the fretboard. I am not afraid to approach just about any song. I want to continue to learn and grow. Going from a few chords to what I can do now has made me quite happy. My story is similar to most- played a bit as a teen, always wanted more, but life got in the way. Without being too dramatic, this guitar has saved me…Playing makes me happy, just hearing the notes resonate touches my soul. 🌟🎸✌🏼

Congratulations! A great accomplishment! Like the old ad says (and am I dating myself 😉) “You’ve come a long way, baby!” 🎖🎵 🌟It is always a joy to hear one of your great performances. May your fruitful guitar journey continue for many years to come!!! 🌈🚘

Thanks Michelle-PSL. And, you are NOT dating yourself with ME! I can even sing that jingle. Happy New Year!

Congrats on you 1st TACiversary @Marisa . It’s been great watching and listening to you this past year.

I am really happy for you @Marisa . You have certainly been a great asset to the community. I feel everyone who finds TAC has been blessed in their guitar journey. I feel everyone who chooses to participate in the community gets extra blessings.
I think you must have a gift for music because your videos are so amazing. You are one of those people who can use what ability you have to great benefit. I’m the opposite. I have to have intermediate ability to perform on a beginner level. People like you really inspire us. Thanks for that and may your guitar journey continue to bring blessings to you and those around you.

What is so great @MikeGaurnier is that TAC has helped me tap back into my musical roots from High School. I played a few instruments then and loved it so. Now, decades later, I am actually learning the guitar and singing again! I am happy to inspire others as so many here have inspired me!

I love that statement you made @Marisa : “I am actually learning the guitar and singing again!”
That is true of so many of us, that we wanted music in our lives but didn’t seem to be able to do that on our own. TAC and the community has done that for us, brought music into our lives. Awesome. 😊

Also another big congrats on your 1st TACiversary @Marisa . It’s been great watching and listening to you this past year. Keep the songs coming and stoke level high🙌.

Thanks for digging up that Landslide video. Fun to compare with Dust in the Wind…same chords, altogether different song. Two songs that I couldn’t play a year ago. Thanks for following. 😃

How did I miss this? I guess it was the Christmas rushing about to family. Anyway a very belated 🎉🌟 TACiversary! I have really enjoyed listening to your songs since I joined TAC. I’m always pleased when I see a new one pop up in the forum (including the occassional foray into electric 🤟😎🎸). Congrats. Darren.

I big thank you to you Darren. You are a gem, and I look forward to your posts and feedback on everyone’s videos. You always hit the nail on the head! 👍🏽😀

If nothing else had happened, your joy evidenced by your “savior” making you “Happy” would be enough to cause me joy as well. And yet you allude to so much more. Happy Tacivesary. You have earned it, and will, no doubt, continue to do so into the future.
