I remembered and more
Yesterday, I posted my intention for this week’s practice. I got right into today’s lick before I did my Ring Finger Roll practice, which is what I said I would do. But, I did remember because I had put it out there. So, I did it. Yah!
And the more? I was able to go all the way down the neck to the 12th fret fairly easily with only a couple of glances to make sure I was on the correct fret. But then, I worked my way back up to the 1st fret entirely by feel. It was slow and fraught with misses, but I was able to get every note and I only looked to verify where I was. I never looked to guide my fingers. I’m starting to believe it is possible for me to find all the frets and strings without looking. Yah!

That is a feat I have not yet been able to accomplish past the 7th fret. Great work. I’m going to have to take a page out of your book!

Well, @Alfred , if you can go down to the 7th fret, you can go farther. You will have to slow down and “feel” your way through. It will be halting, but it won’t be long and you’ll be moving with better rhythm.
