I ask because I’m trying to play along using triads fretting the D, G & B strings only. If your interested in knowing more about that, I’ll be glad to show you what I’m doing😉

That works fine for me @Marty72 because I’m playing the 1st, 3rd and 5th intervals on the 3 strings so I can’t do a maj7 without adding another string for the 7th – then I wouldn’t be playing triads either (LOL)👍

Thanks for posting @Marty72 ! I like that chord progression. Sounds like you are using “Samba Pa Ti” from the “Abraxas” album as inspiration. I think I’ll have a go at playing along to your recording this weekend and try to samba to it (on the guitar, I’m not much of a dancer!) as well. It will be a great one to solo around with I think! 🎶🎸🌞
