Great to see you posting @Marty72 🤩 I enjoyed watching and listening👏👏👏 The progression you’re playing, is it G- F#-F-Am-D-Am-D-G ? I ask because I’m trying to play along using triads fretting the D, G & B strings only. If your interested in knowing more about that, I’ll be glad to show you what I’m doing😉

Hey @Bill_Brown thank you! The chords I am playing are G F# Fmaj7 Am D then repeat. Followed by G Am G Am and fade at the end. Would like to hear what you came up with. Post here or PM me. 😊🧙♂️😎

That works fine for me @Marty72 because I’m playing the 1st, 3rd and 5th intervals on the 3 strings so I can’t do a maj7 without adding another string for the 7th – then I wouldn’t be playing triads either (LOL)👍

Hey Bill, sorry I didn’t answer you sooner. Been out of town and working on my property when we got home from photographing the leaf colors. Will read your message, 😊🧙♂️😎

Thanks for posting @Marty72 ! I like that chord progression. Sounds like you are using “Samba Pa Ti” from the “Abraxas” album as inspiration. I think I’ll have a go at playing along to your recording this weekend and try to samba to it (on the guitar, I’m not much of a dancer!) as well. It will be a great one to solo around with I think! 🎶🎸🌞

Yes @charlie_d it is “Samba Pa Ti” I still haven’t learn how to do a split screen and play both parts. Have at it! Looking forward to what you come up with. 😊🧙♂️😎
