<div>If you’re like me, we’ll my knowledge of this piece was quite deprived, I’ve heard the chorus plenty of times and maybe the song on the radio but never had I considered learning to play it. So I looked it up, the lyrics are easy to find and the following video is just incredible. I’ve never watched it start to finish so if you’re like me then you should enjoy this. I hope you do!!</div>

What a treat for you to find this. It has been a staple of mine since Hooty left the Blowfish. Actually even earlier when Old Crow Medicine Show released this Bob Dylan tune.

I play Wagon Wheel using a base down up, base down up, and it sounds great. I just got the chords from U,Tim at Guitar and had fun with it.

Wagon Wheel always makes me smile. Back in the very early days of TAC, we had a jamboree out in Big Sky. The 2nd year we had it, we were broken into groups to learn a song and one group chose Wagon Wheel. We were practicing in a large dining room and that group was particularly loud thanks to some excellent players with strong voices. Over and over and over we heard this song until we declared it the official song of TAC and we all have wound up learning it. Wagon Wheel will forever be a favorite because of that.

That sounds like a real good time! Wish I could’ve been part of that. 😀

I love it when a lot of stringed instruments are jamming. You get the resonating strings and instruments from all that acoustics and your heart starts vibrating along too. This is a favorite two stepping song for us in Texas.

That’s a great one, make sure Capo is on 2nd fret when playing along.
