Hello @Daniel_Morin 👍👍 I liked both performances – both very well done👏👏👏 Beautiful melodies in both, but I preferred the 2020 version best. For me, it was the sound from the use of the chord shapes that you introduced into the melody that swayed me🤩

Thank you Bill. Me too I prefer the one from last year and besides, the Yeti makes an appearance🙂

Great job, @Daniel_Morin 👍
Super angle to see your finger picking – interesting how much you use your thumb – probably to get a fuller sound 😀

Thank you Niels. Too much thumb I would say. I used the other fingers a little bit more in the one from 2020👍 (oops, another thumb🙂)

Fantastic solos @Daniel_Morin I very much enjoyed listening both. Both were very polished and seemed to tell a story. Thanks for sharing

Thank you Lange.
You are right about the story. I always try to make a kind of little song with the “improvs” which, in the end, are no more “improvs”😎

Well played in both 2020 and 2021, @Daniel_Morin ! Hard to pick which one I prefer. They were both very melodic and enjoyable to listen to. Bonne fin de semaine! 🌞

Very well done, @Daniel_Morin ;
I would give the first one a higher score as you played the hammer-on/pull-off triplets that were part of the “Yeti” lesson and you didn’t play any of that type of triplet in the earlier video.
However, music isn’t a school test of an athletic endeavor, but emotional expression. On that level, I have to agree that both compositions are truly wonderful. You have such a great feel for constructing pleasing melodies and rhythms and making what you play sound like it has a beginning, middle and end, like it’s a trip… well, or a song. Thank you for posting and continuing to help me to learn from your great example.
