  1. To have that skill and being able to just get in that zone of just you and the music has to be an awesome feeling. Someday…

  2. I first thought there was a typo or misspelled name here, as I’m familiar with the other/original(?) Adrian Belew, but nope, this guy is for real and there are two Belew/Bellue guitarists out there. Wow, nice technique here; reminds me in part of the ever-so-talented Trace Bundy, who I hope you’ll be featuring here if you haven’t already (and I just haven’t gotten there yet…).

  3. I am now a huge fan. The multiple percussive elements he brings with absolute mastery of the instrument left my jaw hanging open. I had to do a double take when he went past the Capo then realized it was a partial Capo.
I watch some of these guys and think I should plant some flowers in my guitars.

  4. Holy crap did I see this man tap harmonics on the 17th & 19th fret AND the sound hole?

I get 17 & 19 they are just 5 & 7 an octive higher. Somehow that is logical to me but the middle of the sound hole?

    How does he do that?

  5. Absolutely amazing – brilliant tecnique.
I love that he plays my favorite guitar brand, Furch, in the first two videos, but am I the only one to wonder why he has glued a piece of plywood onto it?
He does not seem to use it for percussion.

  6. Isn’t playing guitar hard enough without a harp grafted onto it? Actually I was surprised how much I liked it.
The harp seems like it is probably tuned to the Key he is playing. Its almost like a forward roll into the guitar.
    Great stuff!

  7. By far my fave of the artists in the course so far. Thanks for the introduction Tony. I’ll be on the hunt for some new vinyl asap!

  8. OMG! I didn’t know you could make an acoustic guitar sound like that! Or any guitar for that matter! I’m going to have to buy his music!
