@Bill_S , sorry to hear you are having surgery. I can only guess what you will be able to do. I think taking the Slide Guitar could be beneficial. If you could hold the guitar on your lap? What do you think. Has your doctor giving you ideas of what you absolutely can’t do? Tony does have a Slide guitar 101 course. Even the Fretboard Wizard could be doable. It’s a lot of studying and you might be able to use the slide guitar approach in helping you with strings. Hope I was some help.

The 5 day blues was a good course. You could always take a picture of the sheet music and have it on your IPhone? That way when you want to practice, it’s right there for you.

You know @Skyman, you are correct. Sometimes Tony comes up with something and I think….. What? are you kidding? But now I can understand what he is doing and pushing us to do. Learning those pull offs and hammer ons make a big difference too. Good to hear your thoughts. Just keep picking 😉

SOUNDS GREAT!! You are doing it correctly. Yep, use the 10 minute start up and as warm up and keep on strumming (or picking). Before long you’ll be posting songs that you made up yourself 😉

I hear you @Todd_S , this was a totally awesome challenge that I would not have been able to do last year.

I’m going to have to rehash what has already been said. Take your time and try not to get frustrated.

I’m sorry @newbybrian , I’m of no help here. Could you add which video in the 30 days to play section where Tony mentions this?

OMG! @Bill_Brown great job. I watched it a couple of times. Love the ending when you really started to improvise!

you know @Loraine , that is strange that support doesn’t give a date? I wonder if the recordings got lost? Wait? I’m stupid. Of course they aren’t lost. Do you think that Tony might be updating them?

You know @MikGaurnier , I did have fun. I sat down Sunday morning with the Monday – Fridays challenges printed out. Then watched the last day of the 5 day routine challenge to recap how Tony did it. It took awhile, but everything came together. and don’t worry…. I always have fun :). I even posted my results on the small win page.

@MikeGaurnier , I am going to start working on the daily challenges a little more on the weekend. Just playing though monday – friday challenges. Maybe I can put some type of sound arrangement together. That is what Tony did on the last day of the 5 days of daily routine challenges (i think that is what it was called). Wish me luck .

I really liked that resonator you were playing. I’m toying with the idea of getting one.

Thanks @TMutter The song is a classic.

I love using a thumb pick. Saves my thumb nail and my thumb. I just started using a regular pick for strum songs. I had a hard time getting used to flat pick. But, now….. I always have both type picks in my jeans pocket. 🙂

ha ha ha @KevinZ , I have to admit I did see the background and wondered where you were at. I thought maybe you were using a sewing room or something.
