Nicely done tropical vibe!

As a fellow Zager owner I will tell you to never let the guitar out of the 45%-55% humidity range. They can get finicky.
And even though it is pretty to look at (I have the same model – all acoustic) keep it in the case when you aren’t playing it.
Have fun with it and record something for us!

So, it’s still rough and a little slower than full speed (96 BPM) but, I got through all the sections. I find this song to be quite challenging and this version is quite rough but, I wanted to show I’m making progress.
Intro, Verse 1, Chorus 1
Verse 2, Chorus 2
Violin solo backing section
back to Intro
Verse 3
Outro (which I cut off several measures early)
Lots of mistakes but, if I waited for perfect, I’d never record anything.

Thanks @Michael_D and @Niels . Seems a lot of people liked that backing groove. We need more of those.

I had previously seen the Box Tops for free n ’67 in NE Philly (a WIBG event!) at Roosevelt Mall. The Letter was their big hit. And my Aunt took me to see The Cowsills at Steel Pier in Atlantic City in ’68 or ’69. They were the inspiration for the Partridge Family. It all seems like yesterday to me.
Ian Anderson was the most entertaining front-man I’ve ever seen. The man was pure energy from the moment he hit the stage. Still one of my top 5 favorite concerts.
