Happy 3rd TACiversary Don. Sounds like you’ve settled into a great routine!

@charlie_d Really fast backing track. You met it head on, and I really like your use of the high and lows we’re great. Really nice palm muting!

Welcome back to guitar @Regis ! As for transitioning between chords, I’m going to suggest that you break it down even further and just focus on 2 chords at a time. Work with a metronome at a slower speed initially, with a chord change every beat. As you’re able to transition at the slower speed, then increase the metronome speed by 3-5 beats per minute (bpm). It won’t sound or feel like that big of a difference in timing. Again work on just the 2 chords, and as you’re able to transition well between the chords at the increased bpm, then tap it up another 3-5 bpm and continue with this process. Soon you’ll be able to transition at a greater speed. Once you’ve got the 2 chords under your belt, keep one of the chords and add a new chord. Take these 2 chords and again start at the slow bpm, and you guessed it – repeat the entire process. I guarantee, you’ll get better at transitions using this method.

Hi @Powelly , and welcome to the TAC community! If the lesson is in the current month, then you’ll be able to click on it in the menu aloft lessons on the left side. If the month has passed, then @jumpinjeff is correct. To be safe, always favorite a lesson you want to revisit. It will show up in your favorites within your profile. But, there is always a chance someone else has favorited a lesson, and yes you can search their favorited lessons, BUT, you’ll need to know the name of the lesson, and it helps to know what type of lesson it was (scales, rhythm, chords, etc.).

Hi @seeks Belated welcome to the TAC community! Sounds like you’re off to a good start. I’m not sure what you need or want to talk about, but I’d be willing to have private messaging discipussion with you. That involves going to your name/icon at the top of the page and clicking the down arrow and then choosing messages, new. You’d then search for me by my username, loraine, and type a message in and hit send. It’s much like email. To know if you’ve received a response to a post or a message, you’ll see a small red icon at the top right of the page next to the small bell symbol. If you click on that it will show you any responses to your posts that you were tagged on (tagged on means using the @ sign with the user name following it) and then choosing that person when the pop up appears) or in a direct message.
As for knowing if you’re improving, you can’t not have improved if you put in the minimum of 10minutes per day or more. Think back to when you first started …. Do you know more than you did then? Do things come a little easier as time goes on (not counting challenging lessons, but foundational skills)? Then you’ve improved. It takes a while to learn the guitar. It’s not an easy instrument to learn, but Tony simplifies the foundational skills and breaks them down to small lessons that are doable.

@Clouds Welcome to the TAC community, and congrats on completing the 30 days to play course. Great job jumping right into the daily challenge and tackling the lesson. Always good to do scales and palm muting is the added bonus. Great win today!

Thanks so much @KevinZ , I’d be open to the link you mentioned. Why don’t you sent it through private messaging though.
