I agree with @Bill_Brown . Capo on the 5th fret and retry the exercise. That’s what I did, because I have such small hands. It makes it easier. As you get better, move the capo to the 3rd fret and practice. Eventually you may be able to do it with open strings. Good luck and have fun with it!

The only real songs are in the Skills section under Fingerpicking and Flatpicking Jumpstart. TAC focuses more on skills and a good practice routine rather than teaching songs. There are some great sites for learning some simpler songs. Try Justinguitar.com or andyguitar.co.uk.

It probably feels fantastic to be able to play again. Have fun with it, and I hope your finger injury wasn’t too bad.

I’m sure your guitar has forgiven you @MarkD66 , and to go to the Outer Banks is a win-win in my book, but a triple win is buying the uke for your wife and having a playing partner now. How cool is that!?!

Absolutely beautifully performed David. The harmonizer really adds to it.

Thanks so much Tommy. I’m having a difficult time getting back in the swing of things, but at least I’m picking up the guitar every day. Hoping the magic begins again. I agree that music/guitar is the best remedy there is. Just need to get my head and hands to jump on board.
