Really quite beautiful

Very fun!! Slide, picking, strumming and vocals – What’s not to love?

I purchased 2 used acoustics from shopgoodwill.com auctions. Both were under $60 + minimal shipping costs. I was lucky that they just needed new strings, and they play beautifully. Note: trick to winning auctions is to be on it in the minute before it ends to outbid others. Great site though.

What a fun tune, and you played it very well!

Very soothing and melodic Dan! Really enjoyed this.

Hi @P2H I feel your frustration. I agree with @Bill_Brown to slow it way down and practice it. Another thought is to mark it complete and move onto something else for the time being, and then return to the blues shuffle at a later time. Often when I’m not making progress I do this, and it’s amazing that I can pick it up later and do better. Also, the purpose is not to master something. It is to build a practice routine and make advancements in skills as we move forward.

I was just saying this earlier in the week. Amazing how all of a sudden we can play something we thought was impossible. Great win @BAM

I’m not sure of the video you refer to with Tony. You could try and search on YouTube for it. Some good inexpensive guitars can be found at Orangewood guitars. Also, the Taylor Gs Mini is fairly inexpensive and smaller and sounds great.

Way to go!! Keep at it!!

Yeah, that finger cut will put a damper on future playing for at least a week. It’s on my index finger tip and is pretty deep actually. For some reason the singing just fell into place with this song, and it would have been painful for others to listen to just the chords. 🙂 Truly appreciate your kind words @Bill_Brown .
