@pasvorto Welcome to TAC! As for the daily challenges and skills courses, they are geared towards all levels of skill. Some will be easier than others depending on your current skills. My suggestion is to try those you’re interested in. The daily challenges are Monday through Friday, and again some will seem easier than others depending on your skill level. All the skills courses and daily challenge are meant to build a solid practice routine, which is a minimum of 10 minutes per day. Also, twice a year the Fretboard Wizard course is opened for registration. It’s a separate cost, but it is worth the extra money, in my opinion. You’ll own the course for life if you decide to move forward with it.
Enjoy the site, and let us know if you have questions or comments. Have fun with it!

Hi @SteveinCT the skills courses are added to occasionally. There isn’t a set schedule, but I know that since the new site, several 5 day challenges were added to it.

The song sounds familiar, but if so it’s been a long time since hearing it. Great job on the muted strings and a nice performance @Michelle-PSL

I can truly say that this was my favorite so far, and I feel you played and sang it extremely well. Great job @Michelle-PSL

I called strings, “keys” – lol. Anyway, I would definitely focus on the 30 days to play challenge to begin with (under the skills section). You can take as much or as little time as you like going through it. The program is meant to teach you practice skills too, so the 10 minutes a day should be the minimum goal that you shoot for. But you can play as long as you like. Shorter practice times tend to yield the best results overall. I would just focus on the 30 days to play before delving into the other areas, but nothin is off limits. This is your program. The 90 day action plan is highly recommended. That’s where you set goals for just the first 90 days. Then repeat each 90.
Good luck and have lots of fun!!

Keep plugging away the best you can on the daily challenges. You will make progress, even when it seems impossible. Give it a good 10 minutes, mark complete, and you can keep playing around with the daily challenge or look into something else that piques your interest. A good place to start might be the Strumming course, or the Jumpstart to fingerpicking or flatpicking. If you have a particular interest, you might want to start with that one. Otherwise, just choose one and have a go at it. There are the newer 5 day challenges. Those might be of some interest.

Short and multiple practices throughout a day work best for me.

Hey @PapaMinou I so feel ya on this. I struggle with strumming in general, because my chord transitions are slow or I try and rush and the chords aren’t clear. I will say however that they have gotten better. I slowed it way down and used a metronome. As I was able to transition with the metronome and strum pattern I went up 5 bpm on the metronome and did the same thing over. And over until I was transitioning on the beat, had clear chords, and had the strum pattern down. Then I would bump it up another 5 bpm and start all over. I’ve gotten better, but I still have to keep really working on it daily in my practice.
It’s okay to move on from the lesson (sometimes a break is necessary) and try something new. You can always go back to the strumming lesson later.
Hang in there and keep plunking away!
