Thanks, @Jonathandavid ! Now I need to figure out how to find the last week of September to do the scrubbing bubbles solo. I was “off” from guitar last week!

You can go to someone else’s profile and look at their favorites and get it from there. I have it in mine😎

Thanks, @Bill_Brown ! I will try that. They just texted me to say if I did not mark it as a favorite, I would not be able to access it…

Nice work on that one @charlie_d 👏👏👏 I like how you started out using the “vertical Gm pentatonic” and then quickly incorporated the one presented in the lesson to come up with a nice sounding melody👍🤩👍 Excellent thinking on that. I really enjoyed listening (and watching), thanks for posting!

Thanks for the support (for my improv) and the tech support to allow me to access last weeks improv lesson, so I can post it @Bill_Brown 👍

My main goal is to do every improv and post it over the course of the year… 😌

Once you bring it up from someone else’s favorites, remember to Favorite it so that it can be saved in your favorites👍

Thanks, @Bill_Brown. I have placed the improv and rhythm back track in my

favourites. Now I just need to get a guitar tuned to open D and get scrubbin’ those bubbles 🛁 🎶

Loved the rhythmic variation (syncopation) you wove in starting around 0;27 as well as the melodic variation throughout. You presented a number of different ideas, all of which fit the packing track superbly. Killer solo, Charlie D. You’re another person (besides Niels) whose take on this brand new backing track I was very much looking forward to hearing.

Thanks for the kind comments @dr_dave . It was fun to include some of the pull-off and drone note approaches based on the scale 🙂 Have a super weekend!

Well that was inspiring. I’m going to give the improv another go when I get home (away from my guitar now.)

    Hi @charlie_d
Great improv, as usual – very smooth and melodic.
And now I know what a TAC smurf looks like 😀

Thanks, @Niels . Yes, the look inspired from that famous song “Papa Smurf Was A Rolling Stone” or something like that… 🍄 🎶
