Yes, Dan, I can help. But I might need more information. If your set up has been working, it’s probably a Zoom setting that has changed. Start by checking your Zoom settings. When Original Sound is turned on, it used to stop the echo cancellation. But the newer version of Zoom you can turn on Original Sound and still have echo cancellation, but you need to make sure the little box is checked.
If you can’t figure it out, maybe someone can help you on one of the VOMs. I will be hosting this Sunday at 12 noon Mountain Time. (2 pm Eastern Time). I can help you if you can’t get it fixed before then. 😄

There are a number of things they haven’t explained yet. They are letting us find some of the new gems, and at some point they will reveal some of them.
I hadn’t really paid attention to the “My Forums” that Bea pointed out. Also, there is a “My Favorites”. I would think the favorites were lessons, and the forums would be a link or one of the five categories. We get the fun of finding out more as time goes on. 😃

Badges are gone Bill. Part of the new effort to incorporate the learning philosophy that Tony teaches in his introductory Webinar and has taught in the Monthly Guitar Party and on the Acoustic Tuesday Show. It all has to do with building a habit and how to improve the fastest and easiest. Badges help with the whole reward thing, but can also contribute to competition, which is counter productive to the principles behind improvement. 😃

@Lance-Hankins Yep, it worked. Well, we know there are still a lot of bugs. The directions say that a period would work. But apparently not. But it’s good to know that we can get our unique names to work right now. 😁

The truth is, I have become a different person since I joined TAC. Yes, I have put forth the effort to learn and apply lessons from both TAC and what I know about how my “higher power” wants me to act, but I will let others pat me on the back if and when that’s appropriate. 😌

@Mike56 and T.J, to your point that they should have run through a serious Beta Test before unleashing this. They had planned Tuesday through Friday. They actually released it Wednesday afternoon. The reason? So we could have access to our lessons and check the site out. Oh, yeah, and many people said previously they had experience in IT would be willing to help Beta test the new site. So “they”, that is we, are doing the serious beta test as we speak. 😃
