Great small win, @JumpinJeff! I love pulling out my guitar for the grandkids (even if it only holds their attention for a few minutes). Maybe next time I will pull out my dusty old banjo! I hope you can see your grandson in person, soon. It’s great when they reach out and explore the strings.

  • Hi @theedman22. Memorizing the open string names from low E at the top, E A D G B E (standard tuning), and getting familiar with the notes on a staff using mnemonics could help (you are probably familiar with this). I use Every Good Boy Does Fine all the time!

That’s so fun! Congratulations. I’ve played at guitar since the 70s, and only after joining TAC did I start developing unknown skills that were waiting to be discovered (including picking out those melody lines in chords). Happy small wins!

What a wonderful way to use and share your skill and talents, Paul! The recognition and appreciation shown by that fellow is sweet icing on the cake! Great win!

Excellent, Daniel! Thanks for re-posting this. It was such a great new experience collaborating with you. Never would have happened without TAC!! (So many things would not have happened on my guitar journey without TAC.)

Brandon: you have “opened my eyes” to the fine elements of recording, too. Many thanks!!

This sounds really cool, Omar. Thanks for debuting it on the Friday VOM. I look forward to hearing it with the addition of your son’s bass line. I am happy you two get to do a little family collaborating!

Hi @alfred, today is the first I have heard about your challenging life event. So sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom, your dad and the rest of your family. It’s an important and powerful comfort that you can share your music in such a wonderful way. Thanks for sharing! Yes, keep strumming.

Hi Joe– you were in a great groove there! Very impressive taking on this JT song! This was an entertaining rendition.

Is that a Zager guitar? Looks fun to play!

Parting with your CEO-7?? Tell me it ain’t so. Wish I had known on June 15 when my Guitar Center 45-day return period was up and I decided to keep my 000-15SM — I might have reconsidered. Maybe. (Well maybe not. I do like my hog.)
