First Small (BIG) Win…
Posted by CannaMouse on June 16, 2021 at 8:01 amI pulled the trigger. I’ve joined and I’m eager to get started tonight right after walking the dogs.
That counts as a win, doesn’t it? 😉

That counts as a big win @CannaMouse . This site has disappointed a few people because they were looking for something else. But, most people love this site because it is unique. It truly builds a regular practice routine, which is the necessary foundation. It also teaches the most effective way to practice. But more than that, it slowly but surely teaches guitar skills across the board. Everyone who uses this site regularly for a while sees improvement. So yeah, this is a big win for your guitar journey. Welcome. <div>
Most important advice I can give you is have fun.

It does count as a “small win”. You may want to start with the 30 Days To Play course. It will teach or refresh a lot of playing tectonics. 🧐🧙♂️😎

Well done taking the first step. 30 day challenge helped me no end so do stick with that. (I only joined in April). The community here are so supportive, you never feel belittled as you make your first steps and do tune into the videos every Tuesday on YouTube. You’ll enter a whole new world of guirar geekdom! All the best of luck. Darren

Great win! when I first signed up I wasn’t so sure because it felt like it was geared primarily to bluegrass,( which I have gained a better appreciation for) but after a short while I found that it translates to any genre of music, I have learned so much in my first 6 months, welcome to the TAC family!

Definitely a win! I joined a little while ago. People are so kind and supportive. I find the lessons to be doable and fun and satisfying. I hope you have a great time!

Welcome to TAC @CannaMouse! You don’t say where you are in your musical journey. If you are beginning, check out the 30 days to play course. My advice is don’t get hung up trying to perfect any one daily challenge lesson. They vary A LOT in difficulty so invest at least 10 min (longer is great but not essential every day) on each one even if it is really tough. Developing a great practice routine is the key. Once you do, you will really notice your improvement over time. Most important: have fun and enjoy the journey!

Welcome to TAC.! Enjoy the journey, it’s an assume program and community.

Congratulations and best wishes on achieving more BIG Wins. I’ve been a member for just over 2 1/2 months and love it…I’ve never played guitar before in my life and I’m now able to make several chords, pick through some runs and have been toughening up my finger tips with daily practice only interrupted with a few days of international travel.

Yep, the first step is starting a routine. Walking the dogs and then sitting down for a few to play a tune. Now….. you can start thinking of a song about walking your dogs 😀
