Hi David ( @dtboss ), Welcome to TAC! I just count down to my self whenever I’m using that method to practice fretting a chord or transition from one chord to another👍

Very nice @Topher 👏👏👏 Nice use of riffs in both scales and at a break-neck pace that never quit😱 to boot👍👍 Very nice😎

Nice one @Jonathandavid 👏👏👏 I really liked when you added the partial chord shapes, with embellishment, to your melody – sounded great👍👍

Very cool and clever format @Niels 🤩 I really liked how you blended the major pentatonic over the boom chicka chords and the minor over the boogie runs😱 Really cool😎 sounding – “Really Truly”!

Hope you have a wonderful guitar journey here🎸 I had been “dabbling” with guitar for 45 years until I started TAC. I did the 30 Day Challenge in about 6 days. (I’m retired, so I could spend as many hours per day as I wanted, until my wife got home from work). I went through every lesson video, wether I knew the subject matter or not, and marked them complete as I went along. That way when I came back to the course each day, it would take me to the point where I left off. I also did all the exercises – I highly recommend doing them, at a minimum, it helps you to get acclimated to the site. Doing all the exercises also helped me to identify things that I needed to work on in my journey. Have fun Mike, it’s your journey, enjoy it however you feel👍

Hi Allen ( @FlhxsGeek ), Welcome to TAC. Hope you have a great guitar🎸journey here. I think @MoochasPoochas has touched on something when he mentions a wider fretboard. What is the width of your guitar’s neck at the nut? I’m thinking that you should have a guitar that has at least a 1 3/4″ width at the nut to accommodate fat fingers😱
In the “Skills” section, you’ll find a “Stretching” course that might help. It has stretches for the hands and fingers, along with other parts of the body that can be affected by playing guitar. Also, make sure you check out the “30 Days to Play” course. I recommend that course to anyone new to TAC, regardless of their level of ability. At a minimum, it’ll help you get the lay of the land, so to speak👍 Good luck Allen on your journey and remember to keep it fun🤩

Hi Ursula ( @campfire ), Now you can see that there’s more than one way to play a C chord💡 That’s a big win!🤩
