You started your DC’s on a very good week of lessons by Tony. I have maintained a “weekly progress tracker” (TAC form download) for over a year now so the current “Prom Nightmare” challenges give me a second shot at them. I can clearly see by my notes a year ago on the form how much easier each DC is now from when I first attempted them. Enjoy your guitar adventure @Mrfredsporty – I am in my 70’s but find playing tunes from the 1970’s (and earlier decades) keep me mentally young!

Wow @Ted_D you are dedicated to being a “guitar player” with all the repeats, especially multiple run throughs the Fretboard Wizard. Soon reaching 600 TAC play sessions is also a notable feat. Have an equally successful third year!

Brilliant! What an imaginative way to document your TAC journey. Darren, you have created the perfect promo to show, with Tony being your guitar guide AND many hours of consistent concentrated practice, how very far one can become an actual guitar player over just one year. Bravo @Moonhare It has been a joy to watch your progress. Can hardly wait to see your playing abilities after another trip around the Sun!🌞

It has extremely high string to fretboard action, especially up the neck when assembled right out of the bag. It has to be shimmed (those provided) to make it much more playable. I am finding it requires continuous tuning. It is what it is.

I recommend you check out Darren’s (@Moonhare) video documentary of his 355-day journey with TAC in the “Small Wins” or “TACiversary Stories” forums. Be consistent (playing at least 10 minutes a day) and have fun with it!

Indeed, @albert_d agree wholeheartedly this guitar journey has refreshed both my heart and soul. I, like many, venture down what is now a far shorter path yet still full of countless opportunities for improvements to one’s life. Playing guitar and otherwise.
