Hi @Greg_F_Lee , I agree with @Loraine , your plan looks good but be careful not to overload yourself😱 Based on what you’ve said in your 1st paragraph, I would suggest doing “Foundations of Fretboard Navigation”(FFN). Then follow that up with “Fretboard Wizard”(FW). FFN is an “open registration” course, meaning it’s available to all TAC members for no additional charge – just like all the other “skill” courses. But FW is an additional cost course. If you didn’t already buy it when you joined, then you’ll have to contact TAC Support about getting the course. I want to say it’s around $150 to purchase, but I’m not completely sure – I don’t think it’s any more than that. That being said, I strongly recommend taking that course. You can find some of the information in FW for free elsewhere on the net, but it won’t be the same learning experience by any means. I’m talking from my own experience on this. With Tony’s teaching technique and the way the course is laid out, FW will give you a whole new outlook on your guitar playing and music knowledge that you never thought possible. Things will come together for you more quickly and easily. In short, it’s money well spent! Good luck on your journey Greg🎸

Hi @Whill , what @Loraine is good insight, but I would like to give my 2 cents. I believe with the new format, the 1x speed correlates to the slow/normal starting speed. You have to work you’re way (incrementally) to the 2x speed to be equivalent to the “fast” speed of the “Old Format”. I think to save server space, they did away with the 3 different speed videos and added the ability to change the speed of the single “original play” video. That’s why sometimes the sound gets distorted when you play the original video at faster speeds.😱

I haven’t forgotten your challenge to me @deagle 🤔, I’m trying to work on it, but Life is in the way at this time – my daughter is getting married this week coming, and my wife is trying to make me rebuild our house – the reception is at our house. I’ll say no more😱

For me @markvguitar , those finger picks are like me being Edward Scissorhands trying to play guitar😱 – not working out well😲 So I’m in the same boat as @Loraine at this point in my guitar 🎸journey – OK with the thumb pick, but…..🤔
